Jan. 9. Mary Ann: Lost & Found by Kathryn Schulz. At least five copies are available through the local library system.

Feb. 13. Lee: Gilgamesh: A New Translation of the Ancient Epic, by Sophus Helle. (The library has various translations of Gilgamesh available. This particular translation is not available through the local library.)

Mar. 13. John A.: The Plague, by Albert Camus (At least three copies are available through the local libraries. Also, ebooks of it are available for Newport library patrons.)

Apr. 10. Kanwal: Premonition, by Michael Lewis. (At least four copies are available through the local libraries. Also, ebooks of it are available for patrons of Newport and driftwood libraries.)

May 8. Brent: A Man called Ove (2012)

June 12, not meet due to too many not available. 

July 10. Craig: Infinity in the Palm of Your Hand, by Marcus Chown. (At least one copy is avaialble through the local library system.) (replacing prior choice : The Log from the Sea of Cortez, by John Steinbeck.)

Aug 14. John P.: Poverty, By America, by Matthew Desmond. The library has two copies.

Sept 11. Pat. Demon Copperhead, by Barbara Kingsolver

Oct 9. Mary Ann: Klara and the Sun, by Kazuo Ishiguro

Nov 13. Lee. Confederacy of Dunces, by John Kennedy O'Toole. (At least two copies are available through the local library system.)

Dec 11. Kanwal. American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer (2007), by Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin.

Jan 8. Brent.  The Measure: A Novel, by Nikki Erlick.

Feb 12: Craig.  Topic rather than book: I have decided that we discuss any book on Wabi Sabi...I encourage each to pick out a book that appeals to them...I have "Wabi Sabi for Artists, Designers, poets and Philosophers" but then I tend to reach way above my abilities...and then one of the themes is the beauty of the imperfect...
