May 2012 book club selections

The 2 books for May are: 

Heart of Darkness, by Joseph Conrad.

King Leopold's Ghost, by Adam Hochschild.  

And a bit of trivia--The movie Apocalypse Now was loosely (very loosely) based on Heart of Darkness.
